Let us come together in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we are saved. As the Bible tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12, WEB).
We lift up Dennis B. and David S. to the Lord, asking for His healing touch upon their lives. We pray, "Lord, have mercy on them. Heal them, for they have sinned against you" (Psalm 41:4, WEB). We believe that God's will is for them to be healed and whole, just as Jesus went about "healing every disease and every sickness among the people" (Matthew 4:23, WEB).
Let us also pray for their spiritual healing and well-being, that they would draw close to God during this time and experience His love and peace. May this be a time for them to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" ( Matthew 11:28, WEB). If Dennis B. and David S. have not done so, we pray that they will call on the name of Jesus Christ, confess their sins to him, and humbly ask him to save them from the ultimately fatal sickness, sin and its eternal consequences.
Let us encourage them with the words of Scripture: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB).
As we pray for Dennis B. and David S., let us also remember to praise God for His goodness and faithfulness. "I will praise you, Lord, with all my heart. I will tell all the miracles you have done" (Psalm 9:1 WEB).
Together we pray.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your healing touch upon Dennis B. and David S. Lord, have mercy on them and heal them according to Your will. Comfort them with Your presence and draw them close to You. Help this be a time for them to seek a closer relationship to you through faith in Jesus Christ. We are thankful for how you turn all things good for your children even if there is evil present, and we ask to be able to feel their pain and draw near to them in their need. Give us an open door for us to minister to them and to administer to their needs. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.
