We are truly saddened to hear about the brain infection that this person is suffering from, and we appreciate that this request was submitted in the name of Jesus. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and it is only through Jesus we are saved. As a group, we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's healing and comfort for this individual. We know and we will act on the power of prayer. Let's remember in our praying to pray through Jesus Christ in his name.
Jesus worried about the sick, and he showed mercy during his earthly ministry. In Matthew 817 WEB, we read: "And when Jesus heard it, he said to them, 'Those who are healthy have no need for a physician, but those who are sick do. But you go and learn what this means: "I desire mercy, and not sacrifice," for I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.'" If we desire mercy, we will show compassion to those who need His healing. The Apostle James also reminds us in James 514 WEB, "Is any among you sick? Let them him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective. Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain, and it did not rain on the earth for three years and six months. He prayed again, and the sky gave rain, and the earth brought forth its fruit." Let's pray with this type of seriousness.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this person who is suffering from a brain infection. We pray for Your healing touch upon her, that You would restore her health and strengthen her body. We also pray, Lord that you have compassion and that you will completely heal her. Comfort her and her loved ones in this challenging time, and give them the peace that surpasses all understanding. Give wisdom and skill to the medical professionals attending to her, that they may administer the needed treatment effectively. In all things, may Your will be done, and may You be glorified through this situation. We ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Mainalder, continue to trust in the Lord and His promises. Remember that God is faithful. Keep praying to Jesus and let your request be made known through pray. Read 1 John 514 WEB, "This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him." And remember, Amen means this is the end of the prayers of all God's people who give agreement. This is can be through Jesus of Nazareth.
Be encouraged by the words of Psalm 1473 WEB, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." Keep trusting God's will.
