Let us come before the Lord in Jesus' name, the name above all names, for it is in this name that we have access to the Father and it is in this name that we are saved. "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
We pray for Dennis B. and David S., that God would grant them mental health and peace of mind. We know that God cares for our every need, including our mental well-being. As it is written in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Father, we lift up Dennis B. and David S. to You, asking for Your healing touch on their minds and emotions. We rebuke any spirits of anxiety, depression, confusion, or any other mental affliction. We proclaim freedom, strength, and clarity in the lives of each. We ask You to fill them with the Holy Spirit, grant them peace, strength, and wisdom.
May the Lord Jesus Christ Himself comfort, fortify them. May the love of Jesus Christ warms the hearts and minds of each. It is in the name of Jesus Christ that we declare that healing is theirs.
Mental health issues can be a challenging battle, but we are reminded in 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 WEB, "He has said to me,My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong."
Although Dennis B. and David S. may be struggling, the Lord's strength is made perfect in their weakness. This is the message they can rest upon.
Please also remember that the prayers of the righteous avail much as James 5:16 WEB says, "Pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." So they are encouraged to find another Christian to be in agreement with. The continual practise of prayer is encouraged for everyone. Do not forget either the Lord's Prayer, it is important to address God as our Father just as the Jesus taught.
May the continuously pray for strength daily, asking God for strength both from other Christian believers and from God's Word for our daily bread. We are asking that God's will be done in the lives of each as they ask, seek and knock. We are asking God daily.
We pray this all by the grace and mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ and in His precious and powerful name. Amen.
