Does God delay healing for a reason? Is it wrong to ask everyday for healing and yet see nothing?
This is a profound question that many people grapple with. In the Bible, there are instances where healing is immediate, such as when Jesus healed the blind man in John 9:1-7, and other times where healing is delayed, like the healing of the man at the pool of Bethesda in John 5:1-9.
The reasons for delays in healing can vary and may include spiritual growth, a deeper reliance on God, or a greater purpose that God has for the individual. It's important to remember that God's ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9), and His timing is perfect.
Asking for healing every day is not wrong. In fact, it is encouraged in the Bible. James 5:14-15 advises believers to pray for one another when they are sick. Persistence in prayer shows faith and trust in God's power and goodness.
Seeing no immediate results can be challenging, but it can also be an opportunity to grow in faith and patience. It's important to continue to trust in God's plan and to seek His will in all things.
Ultimately, God's love and care for us are constant, and He is always working for our good, even when we don't see immediate results.
