Let us come together in prayer for your son's healing and the restoration of your marriage.
Firstly we will address the healing of the child. As followers of Christ, we believe in the power of prayer and the healing that comes from God. Jesus himself said in
**Matthew 18:19-20 WEB**
"Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven.
20
For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them."
The you in this case being those who believe in Jesus Christ, those who have the Holy Spirit indwelling. In addition, the Bible tells us in **James 5:14-16 WEB**
"14
Is any among you sick? He should call for the elders of the assembly, and they should pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord,
15
and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, The prayer offered in faith will healthem. Do not worriedly look at the time of healing. We all know the Lord can heal instantly but sometimes he allows a period of trial. and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. This is the time to reflect and ask if any repentance is necessary.
16
Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."
The congregational leaders may need to be involved. as well. We will incorporate the verses above in our prayer in faith. together. We will also add '17 Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain,' In the location where Elijah lived it did not rain for a period of 3 and a half years. God heard his prayer. If a famine is needed in your life he may perform a miracle. As you seek, trust in God no matter what you see with your eyes and heard with your ears.
As you may already know. The only mediator between man and God is Jesus Christ.
**1 Timothy 2:5** WEB states 'For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,'
In addition
**Acts 4:12 WEB**
'There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
If there is any doubt about salvation we as one would encourage you to call on the name of Jesus and believe that he died for your sins and was resurrected for your justification. This not only insures your salvation but gives you access to the father in prayer.
Now concerning your marriage, we believe in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, as outlined in the Bible. Let us pray for God's intervention and guidance in restoring your marriage. The Bible states in
**Malachi 2:16 WEB**
"For I hate divorce," says Yahweh, the God of Israel, "and him who covers his garment with violence!" says Yahweh of Armies. "Therefore pay attention to your spirit, and do not be unfaithful."
17
You have wearied Yahweh with your words. Yet you say, "How have we wearied him?" In that you say, "Everyone who does evil is good in Yahweh’s sight.
In Exodus 34:6-7 God declared his name to Moses. He is a God that will by no means clear the guilty. Even though there has been sin, It is still God's will that he gives grace to restore the marriage and that both parties are faithful and submit in a manner according to the biblical principles.. Jesus emphasized the permanence of marriage and God's will for the family in **Mark 10:6-9 WEB**:
"But from the beginning of the creation, God made them male and female. For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will join to his wife, and the two will become one flesh, so that they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate."
Let us address the root causes together of the marriage problem. This may take some time but the Holy Spirit can guide. There is no need to share any specifics publicly with others.
Let us pray. Let us ask that any hinderances to the relationship with Jesus Christ to be removed. We exault you, O Lord above everything else in their lives For our brothers and sisters
Father in heaven, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear sister and her family. Lord, we ask for your healing touch upon her son. We honoring the verses in James quoted earlier. Touch his body in whatever manner is best, remove any ailments and restore his health. Father we also come believing in Matthew 18:19-20. We claim this verse explicitly and literally. Will you also work in their marriage, softening hearts, and drawing them back together. We pray for a spirit of forgiveness, understanding, and love to permeate their home. The marriage's roots should be firmly planted in Jesus Christ. As the husband love his wife even as Christ loved the church. Let no one take that lightly. Bring them closer to you and to each other. Restore what has been broken, and strengthen what remains. Guide the husband to love his wife as Christ loved the church.
Help them Father to open their hearts, be transparent, and accountable. We pray for Godly sorrow for all sin committed. This is necessary to meet your terms of forgiveness. May they also be willing to forgive. Completely turn their lives over to Jesus Christ. Help them be willing to die to themselves and forsake their sin no matter how small it may seem. If either one has given up and it hardened their heart again we pray that the Holy Spirit would soften it and revive them for the spouse. Have them be teachable and obedient in hope. Let your desires be revived in their life. Every marriage has specific needs take care of those. Everything can be solved with the light of Jesus Christ. We pray that any clouds of darkness be removed so that the marriage can have a clear way in Jesus Christ. Father we ask that the desires of the heart and marriage would not lean on their own understanding but in all ways acknowledge you, in the name above every name. In Jesus Christ. AMEN.
