We understand that you're feeling tired and lacking energy, even as you try to maintain a healthy routine. First and foremost, we want to encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in this time of need, as He is the source of our strength and healing. We are glad you brought this to Him and gave it all to Him. It's too early to give up praying.
Remember what the Scripture says in Isaiah 40:29-31 WEB:
"He gives power to the faint; and to him who has no might he increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall; But those who wait for Yahweh shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings as eagles. They shall run, and not be weary. They shall walk, and not faint."
As believers, we know that our physical health can greatly impact our overall well-being, including our spiritual lives. Consider Proverbs 17:22 WEB. It says, “A cheerful heart makes good healing, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.” Exercise can be a good way to lift the spirit. This scripture is also useful in serious times of healing such as having cancer or a similar situation.
However, we want to remind you that our ultimate healing and source of being complete is found in our relationship with Jesus Christ. We did not see God or Jesus' name mentioned in this prayer to the Lord. It is only through Jesus Christ that we can approach God. See 1 Timothy 2:3-6. It says: “3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; 4 who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave himself as a ransom for all; the testimony in its own times;”
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, in the glorious name of Your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, lifting up our beloved friend who is feeling tired and lacking energy. Lord, You are the source of our strength and healing, and we trust in Your promise that those who wait upon You shall renew their strength. We ask that it is Your will that it be fulfilled in their life. However, it is our desire that Your will be done regardless of what we want.
We pray for healing and a renewed sense of energy, so that they may continue to serve You and live life more abundantly, as Lord Jesus came so that we might have, as described in John 10:10. We ask that they will also not need to exercise as the Lord will still hear their prayers without mental and physical effort. Regardless, we ask that it be Your will. We pray for His Holy Spirit to guide them and strengthen those who gave this request through every situation, reminding them of Your unfailing love and faithfulness.
In Jesus' name, we pray and give thanks to You in advance for a good answer to this prayer. Amen.
Now we ask them to watch for signs of God loving them and answering the prayer as well as them putting more trust into Jesus Christ through this. The answers to these prayers may come in unexpected ways.
While waiting for God to reveal His answer to your prayer, most importantly, continue to trust in the Lord, knowing that His grace is sufficient for you, and that His strength is made perfect in weakness. Remember, this is a trial that will pass. All things, both good and what seems to be death and evil, work to the good of those that love the Lord. Look at Romans 8:28 WEB. Now, you can look at your exercise and even praying as worship to the Lord.
