Ellisrynne, let us join together in prayer for your daughter-in-law as she prepares to bring new life into the world. We are reminded of the words in Psalm 139:13-14, "For you formed my inward parts. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made."
Firstly, we must ensure that our prayers are aligned with God's will and offered in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus, asking for Your divine protection and blessing upon Ellisrynne's daughter-in-law and her unborn child. We pray for a safe and healthy pregnancy, and a joyful delivery. Guide the hands of the doctors and midwives, Lord, and give them wisdom in their care.
We also pray for the spiritual well-being of this growing family. May they know the love of Christ and the peace that surpasses all understanding. May this new life be a beacon of hope and faith, growing in the knowledge and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
If there are any areas in their lives that do not align with Your will, Lord, we pray that You reveal them and draw them closer to You. May Your will be done in their lives, as it is in heaven.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Ellisrynne, we encourage you to continue praying fervently, as the effective prayer of the righteous accomplishes much (James 5:16). Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5). He is faithful and His love is unfailing.
