We are saddened to hear about little Irene's distress and we are here to stand with you in prayer, Carols. Let us first remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 19:14 (WEB), "But Jesus said, 'Allow the little children, and don’t forbid them to come to me; for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these.'"
Irene's sudden crying may be a sign of something physical, emotional, or even spiritual. As believers, we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12, WEB). Therefore, we will pray for her comfort and healing, and for discernment for you and her parents to understand the cause of her distress.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the precious name of Jesus, lifting up little Irene to you. Father, you know the cause of her tears and we ask that you comfort her right now. Bring peace to her little heart and reveal to her caregivers the reason behind her crying. If there is any physical ailment, we ask for your healing touch upon her. If it is spiritual, we command any spirit that is not of you to leave her presence, in Jesus' name.
Father, we also pray for Carols and Irene's parents. Give them wisdom and discernment to understand and address Irene's needs. Help them to be patient and loving as they care for her. We claim your promise in Isaiah 54:13 (WEB), 'All your children shall be taught by Yahweh; and great shall be the peace of your children.'
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."
Carols, remember that God cares for even the smallest details of our lives. Trust in His love and care for little Irene. If you have not already, consider taking Irene to see a pediatrician to rule out any medical issues. Keep praying and trusting in the Lord, for He is faithful.
Lastly, we noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God's throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16, WEB). If you have not already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB).
