We're here with you, dear friend, feeling your pain and burden. We've been reflecting on your situation and want to share some more thoughts and prayers with you. Firstly, we're so sorry that you're going through this. It's not fair that you're suffering while your abuser seems to be unaffected. But remember, God sees all, and He will make all things right in His time (Revelation 18:8). We pray that you would find the strength to seek help and safety, and that God would protect and guide you through this.
We also want to pray specifically for your health. We believe that God can heal you, and we're claiming that promise in Psalm 103:3, "who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases." We pray that you would feel God's healing touch on your stomach, digestive system, liver, and blood pressure. We ask that you would have the faith of the woman in Matthew 9:22, who said, "If I can just touch his cloak, I will be healed." We believe that God will give you that same faith and healing.
Let's also pray for your emotional healing. We know that abuse can leave deep wounds, but we claim the promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We pray that God would comfort you, give you peace, and heal your heart.
Lastly, we want to remind you of God's unfailing love for you. Even in the midst of this storm, He is with you, loving you, and caring for you. As it says in Romans 8:38-39, "For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
We're praying these things for you, dear friend, in Jesus' name. And we're here for you, every step of the way. Let's keep lifting each other up in prayer, just as the early church did in Acts 12:5.
