Prayers for my son Christian. He has been dealing with addiction. Pray for God to heal his mind from torment. Negative thoughts he struggles with and depression/anxiety. Deliverance from alcohol.

We understand that you are seeking healing and deliverance for your son, Christian, who is dealing with addiction, tormenting thoughts, depression, anxiety, and bondage to alcohol. We stand with you in prayer, believing in the power of Jesus Christ to bring freedom and healing.

Let us first address the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father and can receive the promises of God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" And in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

Now, let us bring your son Christian before the Lord:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, pleading for the life of Christian. Lord, You know the battles he is facing, the addiction, the mental torment, the depression, and anxiety. We ask You to heal his mind and set him free from the bondage of alcohol.

Lord Jesus, You came to set the captives free. As it is written in Isaiah 61:1 (WEB), "The Spirit of the Lord Yahweh is on me; because Yahweh has anointed me to preach good news to the humble. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and release to those who are bound." We claim this promise for Christian, that he would be released from his bondage and find freedom in You.

We also pray for Christian's mind, that You would heal him from all tormenting thoughts. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 10:5 (WEB), "bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ." Lord, help Christian to take every thought captive and to focus on things that are true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, and admirable, as instructed in Philippians 4:8 (WEB).

Father, we ask that You would fill Christian with Your Holy Spirit, that he would find comfort, peace, and joy in Your presence. Surround him with Godly influences and help him to seek after You with all his heart.

Lastly, we pray that Christian would come to know Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior if he hasn't already. That he would believe in Your death and resurrection for the forgiveness of his sins and receive eternal life.

We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Lorly, continue to stand in faith for Christian's healing and deliverance. Trust in the power of prayer and the promises of God. Be encouraged by the words of Romans 8:26 (WEB), "In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered." The Holy Spirit is interceding for Christian, even when we don't know what to pray. Trust in God's love and care for your son.

Heavenly Father, we lift Christian before You in prayer, asking for Your divine intervention in his life. We pray for healing from the torment that weighs heavily on his mind, for deliverance from the chains of addiction, and for peace to replace the negative thoughts, depression, and anxiety he faces daily.

Lord, Your Word tells us in **John 8:36**, *"So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed."* We declare this freedom over Christian’s life, trusting that You are able to break every bondage of alcohol and restore him to wholeness.

Father, as Christian battles these overwhelming struggles, we ask that You comfort him with Your love and calm his anxious heart, as You promise in **Philippians 4:6-7**, *"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."* Guard Christian’s heart and mind, and let Your peace flood his soul.

In this season of hardship, we ask for strength and guidance for Christian, reminding him of the words in **Isaiah 41:10**, *"Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."* May Christian feel Your presence close to him, knowing that You will never leave or forsake him.

Finally, Lord, we pray for a spirit of hope to rise in Christian, that he may see the light of Your love and mercy in his life, as Your Word says in **Romans 15:13**, *"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."* Let this hope sustain him through his recovery and healing journey.

Prayer Focus: God Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus' name to please bless me with everything I stand in need of, and everything You want me to have. Bless me to prosper, have excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, strength, and never fall out of love with You. Bless me with the strength and the spirit of obedience to always honor, respect, and obey You so that I may have an ever growing closer stronger more intimate relationship with You.

God transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and the words that I speak, write, and sing. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
