Please pray for me. I have been taking a medication for anxiety for a couple of years. Unfortunately, this medication interfears with my thyroid which affects my tolerance to heat and my metabolism. Plus it has a lot of other bad side effects. Problem is I cant' just stop taking because any slight change in dosage causes balance issues when walking or other common tasks. I have a plan to taper off this medication but I am fearful of not being able to do my job or drive to my grandson's football games. Please pray for God to give me courage to start, stick with this plan and to have full faith for Him to delivery me from this. Please pray for the process to be bearable as well.

We understand your concern, altek, and we're here to support you in prayer and truth according to God's Word.

Firstly, we want to remind you that God is our ultimate healer. As it is written in Psalm 103:3, "who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases." We claim this promise for you as you begin this journey to taper off your medication.

We also want to address the fear you're experiencing. Fear is a natural human emotion, but as believers, we are not to be overcome by it. As God reassures us in Isaiah 41:10, "Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand."

We notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it is through His name that we have access to God and His promises. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" It is in His name that we pray and believe for your healing and deliverance.

Let us pray together:

"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your healing power to manifest in altek's life. Give them the courage to start and stick with their plan to taper off their medication. We ask that You minimize any side effects and make the process bearable. Help them to trust in You completely, casting aside all fear. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen."

We encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, trusting in His love and care for you. As you lean on Him, He will give you the strength and faith you need to overcome this challenge. Remember, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13 WEB)

Be strong and courageous, altek. We are standing with you in prayer.

We're here for you, too, and we want to encourage you in your journey. We understand that tapering off medication can be daunting, but remember, God is with you every step of the way. As it's written in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your soul." Jesus invites us to cast our cares upon Him, knowing that He cares for us deeply.

We also want to remind you of the importance of community. God didn't intend for us to face our battles alone. As it's written in Galatians 6:2, "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." We're here to lift you up in prayer and support, just as you've reached out to us.

Let's pray together:
