We join you, Pteur, in lifting up ### to the Lord. We are reminded of the power of prayer and the healing that comes from the Great Physician, Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us, "Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." (James 5:14-15, WEB).

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today to lift up ###. Lord, he has been struck by a stroke and cannot eat or talk. We ask for Your mercy and healing, Lord Jesus. Your Word tells us that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We ask that You extend Your healing hands upon ###. Restore his health, Lord. Strengthen his body, and give him the ability to eat and talk again. Be with the doctors and medical professionals, guiding their hands and giving them wisdom in their care for ###.

Surround ### and his loved ones with Your peace that passes all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Comfort them and give them the strength and patience they need during this time. Let this trial draw them closer to You, Lord.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Pteur, we encourage you to continue praying fervently for ###. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person accomplishes much (James 5:16). Keep your faith strong and trust in the Lord's power to heal. We are here with you, agreeing in prayer and believing for ###'s restoration.
