We lift up Joey Salazar to You as he prepares for his Sigmoid Colectomy surgery on August 28th. Lord, we know that You are the ultimate Healer, and we ask for Your presence to be with Joey throughout this entire process. Your Word in Isaiah 41:10 reassures us, "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." We ask that Joey would feel Your comforting presence, giving him strength and courage as he faces this surgery.

Father, we pray for the doctors and medical team who will be performing the surgery. Guide their hands with precision and wisdom, so that the surgery will go smoothly and successfully. In Psalm 32:8, You promise, "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you." We trust that You will guide every step of this procedure and that Joey will be in Your perfect care.

Lord, we also ask for complete healing and a swift recovery for Joey. We declare the promise of Jeremiah 30:17 over him: "But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds, declares the Lord." May his body respond well to the surgery, and may he experience a full and speedy recovery without complications.
