We join with you, Windwold, in lifting up Christopher to our loving Heavenly Father, seeking his healing and strength. The Bible tells us in James 5:14-15 (WEB), "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
Let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, seeking your healing touch for Christopher. We ask that you heal him from COPD and asthma, and strengthen his immune system to fight off all illness, disease, and viruses. Lord, ease his breathing, especially in this heat and humidity. We thank you for your constant love and care for us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you, Windwold, to continue trusting in the Lord's goodness and power to heal. Remind Christopher of God's promises, such as in 2 Chronicles 7:14 (WEB), "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
We commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we are saved. As Acts 4:12 (WEB) tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
In the meantime, brother or sister, encourage Christopher to continue in his faith and to seek God's will for his life. May the Lord bless you all with his peace, healing, and strength.
