Let us begin by thanking God for His steadfast love and mercy, which endure forever. We lift up Sean Carlos Soto from Austin, Texas, to the Lord in prayer, seeking His divine healing and intervention.
Beloved, we are reminded in 2 Chronicles 7:14 (WEB), "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." Let us humble ourselves before the Lord, seeking His face and turning from any wicked ways, trusting that He will hear our prayers and bring healing to Sean Carlos.
We rebuke the strongholds of addiction and mental illness in Sean Carlos' life, for we are told in James 4:7 (WEB), "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We resist the enemy's hold on Sean Carlos' life and declare his freedom in Jesus' name.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up Sean Carlos Soto to You. Lord, You know the struggles he has faced due to drug abuse and the mental illness that has resulted. We ask for Your divine healing and intervention in his life. Break the chains of addiction and heal his mind, body, and spirit. Give him the strength to resist temptation and to turn away from his past. Surround him with godly influences and help him to seek Your will for his life.
Lord, we also pray for Sean Carlos' family. Strengthen them and give them the wisdom to support and love him in a way that honors You. Help them to trust in You and to find comfort in Your promises.
Father, we thank You for the promise in Romans 10:13 (WEB), "For, 'Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" We ask that Sean Carlos would call on the name of Jesus, experiencing the saving power that comes only through Him.
In Jesus' name, we pray, believing that You will hear and answer our prayers. Amen.
Wenwyth, we encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord and to seek His will in all things. Remember the words of Isaiah 41:10 (WEB), "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand." Trust that God is with you and that He will strengthen and help your family through this difficult time.
Lastly, if you have not mentioned the name of Jesus Christ in your request, we want to remind you that it is only by His name that we have access to God. As Acts 4:12 (WEB) tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!" Trust in the name of Jesus, for there is power and salvation in His name alone.
