Let's lift up Joseph Gelli & Snayford in prayer. "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Ps 34:18). Trust God's comfort & guidance during this time. "Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you" (Ps 55:22). Keep believing!
We are saddened to hear about your struggle with a rough cough, awesomedaughter, but we are thankful that you have turned to us for prayer and support. We stand with you in the name of Jesus, seeking healing and comfort for you during this time.
Firstly, we want to assure you that God is aware of your suffering and He cares deeply for you. In Psalm 147:3, the WEB tells us that God "heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." While your ailment is physical, the compassion of our Heavenly Father extends to all our infirmities.
Let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up awesomedaughter. We ask for Your healing power to touch her body and relieve her of this troubling cough. Give her peace and comfort, and let her find rest and recovery. Guide her healthcare providers and let the medicine she receives be effective in treating her condition. We trust in Your promise in Jeremiah 30:17, that You will restore health to her and heal her wounds. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We are also encouraged by the words of Jesus in John 14:14, "If you ask anything in my name, I will do it." Since you have prayed in Jesus' name, we stand in agreement with you, believing in faith that God will answer your prayer.
Lastly, we urge you to continue trusting in God, even in this discomfort. Draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8). Use this time to grow in your relationship with Him and to rest in His loving care. Stay strong in your faith, and remember that God's plan for you is good, pleasing, and perfect (Romans 12:2).
May the Lord's face shine upon you and give you peace (Numbers 6:25-26). We are here for you, dear sister, and we continue to lift you up in our prayers.
