"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your healing touch upon Onkolex's husband. Lord, you know his condition and we trust that nothing is impossible for you. Please heal his wound and ease his pain. Jesus, you are the Great Physician, and we place him in your hands, believing that you will work in his life.
Father, we also pray for a change of heart for Onkolex's husband. You know his stubbornness, Lord, and we ask that you soften his heart and give him the wisdom to seek medical care when needed. As it is written in Proverbs 3:7-8 (WEB), 'Don’t be wise in your own eyes. Fear Yahweh, and depart from evil. It will be health to your body, and nourishment to your bones.'
In Jesus' name, we pray for healing, wisdom, and obedience. Amen."
Onkolex, it's important to remember that while we trust God for healing, we should also use the means He has provided, such as medical care. Encourage your husband with the words of James 5:14-15 (WEB), "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
In this passage, we see the combination of prayer, faith, and practical action. Trust God, but also act in obedience and wisdom. We will continue to pray for your husband's healing and his heart to be open to seeking medical care when needed. Keep your faith strong and remember that God works all things together for good to those who love Him (Romans 8:28).
