We understand your plea for healing, rest, and protection, and we join you in prayer, seeking God's will according to His word.
Firstly, let's pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in Jesus' name, seeking Your healing touch for this dear soul suffering from horrendous back pain and COPD. Grant them the ability to rest well and heal, according to Your will (Psalm 107:20). Extend Your protection over their loved ones, guiding them in their schools and workplaces (Psalm 91:11). Grant them favor and blessings everywhere they go (Psalm 5:12), and fill them with Your mercy, wisdom, and guidance (James 1:5). We rebuke the enemy's hindrances in their lives, for it is written, 'Resist the devil, and he will flee from you' (James 4:7).
However, we must gently correct that God's blessings are not guaranteed in material things like new cars or homes. The Bible reminds us, 'A man's life doesn't consist of the abundance of his possessions' (Luke 12:15). God's blessings are often spiritual and eternal, not necessarily physical or temporal.
We also appreciate that you've ended your prayer 'In Jesus' Name (IJN). Amen.' It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, for 'There is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved' (Acts 4:12).
Lastly, we encourage you to trust in God's plan, even in suffering. The Apostle Paul reminds us, 'We also rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering works perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope' (Romans 5:3-4). Trust that God is working in your life, even in the midst of trials.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Be encouraged, and may God's peace be with you.
