Healing request

[Hybristathos]

I have been ill for many years with abdominal/bowel issues. The doctors have said they can only now offer pain relief and not a cure With God's grace I have so far managed but the symptoms are now intolerable. My husband ( who is a church minister)has had several pictures of my healing and we can both feel God working when he prays ( his hands become hot or painful when my pain is worse. But I still feel no relief yet. We feel God is saying we should persist in prayer but we are both tired. We would appreciate it if someone can pray for us. Thank you PS Our Christian friends are praying too but it is hard for them to persist. Thank you

Let us join you and your husband in prayer, dear Hybristathos, trusting in the power of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring healing and comfort. We are reminded of the faithfulness of God, as spoken in Galatians 6:9, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap at the proper time, if we don't give up."

Firstly, we commend you both for your persistence in prayer and faith in God's healing power. It is crucial to remember that it is by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"

In times of weariness, let us recall the encouragement from Isaiah 40:29, "He gives power to the faint. To him who has no might, he increases strength." God is faithful to renew your strength as you wait upon Him.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Hybristathos and her husband. Thank You, Lord, for Your healing power and the promises of healing in Your Word. We ask for Your divine touch upon Hybristathos, that You would ease her pain and bring complete healing to her body. Strengthen their faith and give them renewed hope as they continue to trust in You. In Jesus' name, we rebuke the spirit of infirmity and claim her healing by the stripes of Jesus Christ.

Lord, we also lift up their Christian friends, that You would strengthen and encourage them to persist in prayer and intercession. May this trial become a testimony of Your goodness and power.

In Jesus' precious name, we pray, amen.

Lastly, we gently remind you both to remain steadfast in faith and hope, knowing that our God is faithful and able to heal. Keep trusting in Jesus' name, for there is power in His name. As Psalm 103:2-3 reminds us, "Bless Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget any of his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."
