Healing relationship with daughter

My only daughter is getting married and I thought I was going to help her with her wedding. I looked forward to this day forever. She went to visit her fiancée's family three states away. I was waiting for her to get back home so we could start to plan. She emailed and stated that her new family is planning her wedding. I was so shocked and hurt. I have been both mom and dad for her. I wrote a letter from my heart and she emailed back stating that family and friends support this decision and it's up to me to accept it or not. I am so heart broken. Pray that God will heal my heart and I don't get bitter or resentful: That I can just offer this pain to Jesus as a sacrificed. As a single mom I don't have the glitter the other family may have. I don't know them and never met them.

Dear Lord,
Please heal this mom's heart + help her not to become bitter or resentful. Her daughter likely is not thinking of how much this must hurt her mom. Perhaps she is trying to please her fiance`'s family, or perhaps they are helping pay for the wedding. Either way, help the mom to let it go + just offer to be available to help wherever she can. May the daughter allow her mom to be involved at least peripherally. No doubt the daughter will realize later on how thoughtless + hurtful her behavior is. In the meantime, give Eva peace.
