We join you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace, seeking healing, protection, and peace for him. We are reminded of the Lord's promise: "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, asking for Your healing touch upon this son. Lord, You are the God of all comfort (2 Corinthians 1:3-4 WEB), and we ask that You comfort him, delivering him from the nightmares and the effects of PTSD. We pray for Your supernatural peace to guard his heart and his mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB). We ask for peaceful sleep and sweet dreams with sound mind (Proverbs 3:24).
We rebuke the spirit of fear and trauma in Jesus' name. We speak and pray for peace, wholeness, and restoration for him. We pray that your holy spirit will be with him and comfort him and be with him and that he will know Jesus is Lord and will be saved if he has not done so already.
Father, we ask for Your protection over him, shielding him from all harm and danger and from the enemy of our souls. We pray that You will surround him with Your favor as with a shield (Psalm 5:12 WEB), and that You will send Your ministering angels to encamp around him (Psalm 34:7 WEB).
We encourage you both to meditate on God's promises and trust in His goodness and faithfulness. Remember that the Lord is "a stronghold in the day of trouble" (Nahum 1:7 WEB), and He will never leave you or forsake you (Hebrews 13:5 WEB).
Father, we ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who paid for our sins, died on the cross, and rose again so that we could live in freedom and power. We thank You for hearing our prayers and for being faithful to answer. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to stand firm in faith, knowing that God is working all things together for good (Romans 8:28 WEB). Keep praying and trusting in the Lord, for He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20 WEB). We are praying with you and believing God for a complete healing and restful sleep for your son.
