We join you in prayer for your son, seeking God's healing, protection, and comfort for him. We stand in faith, believing that God has the power to heal and protect, and that He cares deeply for your son's well-being.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our ###'s son to You. Lord, You know the struggles he faces, the nightmares that plague him, and the healing he needs. We ask You to envelop him in Your loving arms, comforting him and driving out all fear and anxiety. As Your Word says in Second Timothy 1:7 WEB, "For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."
Father, we pray for Your healing touch upon his mind and body. Heal his thoughts and emotions from the ptsd and all that this is causing him to suffer. We believe that You are Jehovah Rapha, the God who heals, and that there is no burden too heavy for You to bear. As the Psalmist wrote in Psalm 147:3 WEB, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."
We also ask for Your protection over him, Lord. Surround him with Your angels, and let no weapon formed against him prosper. As Your Word declares in Psalm 91:4 WEB, "He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart."
Finally, Father, we pray for sweet, peaceful sleep for him. Drive out the nightmares and let him rest in Your peace. As it says in Psalm 4:8 WEB, "I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep; for you, Lord, alone make me live in safety."
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Take heart, dear ###, knowing that God is faithful and that He cares for your son even more than you do. Trust in His goodness and rest in the knowledge that He is working all things together for good, even in this situation. Remember the words of Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Stand firm in your faith and continue to pray, knowing that God hears your prayers and that He is a loving Father who desires to give good gifts to His children. As Jesus taught us in Matthew 7:11 WEB, "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him?"
If you ever feel overwhelmed or discouraged, remember that God is with you and that He is faithful.
