We join you in lifting up your son before the throne of God, seeking healing, protection, and peaceful sleep for him. It brings us joy to see that you have prayed in Jesus' name, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is the name by which we are saved. Acts 4:12 says, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved."
Let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We lift up our ###'s son to You, asking for Your healing touch upon his life. Lord, You are the God of all comfort (2 Corinthians 1:3), and we ask that You comfort him in his time of need. Cast out all fear and anxiety, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7).
We rebuke the spirit of trauma and nightmares that has been tormenting him. Lord, You are greater than any problem or affliction (1 John 4:4), and we ask that You break the chains of PTSD that have bound him. Grant him peaceful sleep, for it is in Your arms that we find rest and safety (Psalm 62:1).
Surround him with Your hedge of protection (Job 1:10), keeping him safe from all harm and danger. Give his mother wisdom and guidance as she cares for him, and strengthen her faith as she trusts in You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Be encouraged, dear sister, for the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much (James 5:16). Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Continue to pray and intercede for your son, and trust that God is at work in his life. Remember the words of Isaiah 53:5, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed." Trust in the healing power of Jesus, and may God's peace and comfort be with you and your son.
