We join you in lifting up your son before the throne of God, seeking healing, protection, and peaceful sleep for him. We are reminded of the words of the Psalmist, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'" (Psalm 91:1-2 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine intervention in the life of this dear son. Lord, You know the struggles he faces, the nightmares that plague him, and the burden of PTSD that he carries. We ask for Your healing touch upon his mind, body, and spirit. Comfort him with Your presence, and grant him peaceful sleep, free from the torment of nightmares.
We pray for Your protection over him, Lord. Surround him with Your angels and let no weapon formed against him prosper. Help him to find his strength and refuge in You, knowing that You are his fortress and shield.
Father, we also pray for his faith to be strengthened. Help him to know that it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to You, and that there is no other name by which we can be saved. May he draw nearer to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, and find the peace and healing that only He can provide.
In Jesus' name, we rebuke the spirit of fear and trauma that may be causing these nightmares. We declare that our God is a God of peace, and we claim Your promise that You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are stayed on You, because they trust in You (Isaiah 26:3 WEB).
Lord, we ask for Your will to be done in his life, and we trust that You are working all things together for his good, because he is called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, dear brother or sister, knowing that our God is a loving and faithful Father who cares for His children. Trust in Him, and He will act (Psalm 37:5 WEB). Continue to stand in faith, believing that God is at work in your son's life, and trust that He will bring about a miracle. Keep praying, keep believing, and keep seeking God's will in all things.
