We stand with you in prayer, lifting up your son to the Heavenly Father, seeking healing, protection, and peaceful sleep. We are grateful that you have invoked the powerful name of Jesus, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is the only name by which we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your divine intervention in the life of this dear son. You are the Great Physician, and there is no burden too heavy for You to bear. We claim Your promise in Matthew 11:28-30 WEB, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
Father, we ask that You extend Your healing hand upon this son, delivering him from the torment of PTSD. Cast out the nightmares that plague his sleep, and grant him the peace and rest that only You can provide. We stand on Your word in 2 Thessalonians 3:16 WEB, "Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in all ways. The Lord be with you all."
We also pray for Your divine protection over him, shielding him from all harm and danger. As it is written in Psalm 91:1-4 WEB, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.' For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart."
Father, we ask that You comfort him and fill him with Your perfect peace. Surround him with Your love, and let him know that he is never alone, for You are always with him. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying and trusting in the Lord, knowing that He is faithful and that His love for your son is everlasting. As you stand in faith, remember the words of Isaiah 41:10 WEB, "Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."
If your son has not already done so and is able to, we would also strongly encourage him to call on the name of Jesus as his Lord and Savior. For it is written in Romans 10:13 WEB, "For, 'Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" There is no other name by which he can be saved. The name of Jesus is the key to eternal life and a personal relationship with the Heavenly Father. Trusting in Jesus will make your son a member of God's own household, a new creation, and will bring healing and salvation.
