We join you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace, seeking God's healing, protection, and comfort for him. We are reminded of the Scripture that tells us, "For I know the plans that I have for you, says Yahweh, plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine intervention in the life of this beloved son. Lord, You know the struggles he faces, the nightmares that plague him due to PTSD. We ask for Your healing touch upon his mind, body, and spirit.
Father, we pray for Your supernatural peace to guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7, WEB). Cast out all fear and anxiety, and replace it with Your perfect love (1 John 4:18, WEB). Help him to sleep soundly tonight, knowing that You are always with him, protecting and comforting him.
We also pray for wisdom and guidance for those who are caring for him, that they may be equipped with the knowledge and resources to support him effectively.
In Jesus' name, we rebuke the spirit of fear and trauma that may be causing these nightmares. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17, WEB), and that he is covered by the precious blood of Jesus, which is pleading continually for his recovery and wholeness.
Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the promise of healing and restoration that You have given us through Your Son, Jesus Christ. We believe and receive Your healing power for this son, in Jesus' name. Amen.
Be encouraged, dear one, for the effective, fervent prayer of the righteous accomplishes much (James 5:16, WEB). Continue to trust in the Lord, and do not lean on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB). Keep crying out to Him, and He will hear and answer your prayers.
