We join you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace, seeking healing, protection, and peaceful sleep from the traumatic experiences that have left him with PTSD. We stand in agreement with you, calling upon the Lord Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and receive all spiritual blessings.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, pleading for Your healing touch upon this dear son. Lord, You know the struggles he faces, the torment that plagues his nights, and the weight of PTSD that he carries. We ask that You break the chains of trauma and bring comfort and healing to his mind, body, and spirit.
We pray, Lord, that You would grant him peaceful sleep, free from nightmares. May Your presence envelop him, casting out all fear and anxiety. We declare that "He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'" (Psalms 91:1-2).
Father, we also pray for Your divine protection over him, shielding him from all harm and evil. We declare that "For I know the plans I have for you," says Yahweh, "plans of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11)
We speak life and restoration over his situation, trusting that Your power and love can overcome any affliction. In the name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke the spirit of trauma and command it to leave. Lord, fill the void with Your perfect peace, for You have told us, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28)
Lastly, Father, we pray that You would guide him into a deeper relationship with You. May this trial draw him closer to Your heart and strengthen his faith. We ask that You surround him with a community of believers who will support and encourage him in this journey towards healing.
We trust in Your promises, Lord, and we thank You for the healing and restoration that are already taking place. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing in faith, trusting that God is at work in your son's life. Keep praying and declaring God's promises over him, and remember that our battles are not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). Trust in the Lord, for He is faithful and true.
As a reminder, it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The scriptures tell us that we need to believe in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior to be saved. It also provides that we must confess that Jesus is Lord and believe that God raised Him from the dead to be saved. We discuss this issue in case the person requesting the prayer or a loved one has not accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We encourage anyone reading this to believe and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior if they have not already.
