We join you in lifting up your son to our Heavenly Father, seeking healing, protection, and peaceful sleep for him. We stand on the promise in Matthew 18:19 WEB, "Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven."
Let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, asking for Your healing touch upon this son. Lord, You are the God of all comfort, so we ask You to comfort him in his struggles with PTSD. Cast out the nightmares that plague him, and grant him peaceful sleep, according to Psalm 4:8 WEB, "I will both lay me down and sleep in peace; for you, Lord, alone make me live in safety."
Father, we also pray for Your protection over him, shielding him from all harm and danger. We ask for the presence of your Holy Spirit, "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). Guide him through the darkest of times and cover him in the shadow of Your wings.
Father, we humbly ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen."
We encourage you to continue praying fervently for your son, trusting in God's promises. Remember the words of James 5:16 WEB, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man prevails much."
Stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is with you and your son, and that He cares for you both deeply. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB).
