We join with you, Rewin, in praying for this individual who is suffering from ill health, specifically diabetes, and is feeling sick and unable to eat. We trust in the power of Jesus' name to bring healing and guidance.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this person who is suffering from diabetes and is feeling unwell. We ask for your healing touch upon their body. Guide them and their healthcare providers to the best course of treatment and care. Help them to regain their appetite and strength. In Jesus' name, we pray for their complete restoration and healing.
We also pray for all those who are hungry and suffering around the world. We ask that you provide them with the food they need and keep them safe from harm. We remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 25:35-40 (WEB):
For I was hungry, and you gave me food to eat. I was thirsty, and you gave me drink. I was a stranger, and you took me in. I was naked, and you clothed me. I was sick, and you visited me. I was in prison, and you came to me. Then the righteous will answer him, saying, Lord, when did we see you hungry, and feed you; or thirsty, and give you a drink? When did we see you as a stranger, and take you in; or naked, and clothe you? When did we see you sick, or in prison, and come to you? The King will answer them, Most certainly I tell you, because you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.
Father, we ask that you raise up individuals and organizations to meet the needs of the hungry and suffering. Use us as your hands and feet to bring relief and comfort to those in need.
Rewin, we encourage you to continue praying fervently for these needs, as James 5:16 (WEB) tells us, The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous man accomplishes much. And always remember it is only in Jesus Name we can pray or have access to God. Trusting in His name is essential for salvation and notice that the person praying to God in the old testament were before Jesus was glorified and before he came to earth. This not any longer the case and no one can come to God but by Jesus as His word says in several places such as the following:
John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Acts 4:12 There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
Lastly, Rewin, stand on the Word of God, holding onto the promise of Bible verses like 1 John 5:14-15 (WEB) and the many other Bible verses that mention the power of praying boldly, knowing that we will receive it. But continuing to pray without doubting that shows our complete trust in Jesus. This is what we are to do:
This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.
Thank you Rewin for calling IJN. We join in praying in Jesus name together. So be it.
