Let us come together in prayer and support for Calairnormar and their family. We first want to address the need for prayer for their church ministry. It is so important to pray for the spiritual health and impact of our churches. We are reminded in Ephesians 6:18 to pray in the Spirit at all times in every prayer and supplication. Let us pray that their church ministry will be a beacon of light in their community, drawing people to Jesus and discipling believers to grow in their faith.
Now, let us address the health concerns of Calairnormar's husband. His struggle with diabetes and leg swelling is a serious matter, and we trust that God can bring healing and comfort. In James 5:14-15, we are told, Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore we strongly encourage them to invite the church elders to pray for him and anoint him with oil.
Let us pray for her son as he prepares for his final exams. In Philippians 4:6-7, we are told, Have no anxiety at all, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Let us pray that her son will have peace and clarity of mind as he studies and takes his exams, and that he will do well in his academic pursuits.
Lastly, let us remember the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. In John 14:13-14, Jesus Himself says, Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it. Therefore, let us always come before God in the name of Jesus, trusting in His power and authority.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus to lift up Calairnormar, their husband, their son, and their church ministry. Lord, we pray for healing for the husband, that his diabetes will come under control and that the swelling in his leg will subside. We pray for wisdom for the doctors and for effective treatment. We pray for peace and success for their son as he takes his final exams. We also pray for their church ministry, that it will be a powerful witness for You in their community. In all things, Lord, may Your will be done and may You be glorified. We ask this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, amen.
