We join you, Basiloria, in lifting up your father before the throne of grace, trusting in the power of Jesus' name for healing and restoration.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus, as it is written in John 14:13-14 WEB: "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." This is a reminder to all that we can only have access to the Father and His blessings by the name of Jesus and also that Jesus is the only way to be saved. Good job on lifting in the name of Jesus since it is the only way to the Father. It is also equally important to believe in the name of Jesus Christ.
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up Basiloria's father, asking for Your healing touch upon his body. You are the Great Physician, and there is no sickness or disease that can stand against Your power. We rebuke this sickness causing him to vomit, and we command it to leave his body in the mighty name of Jesus.
Father, we ask for Your strength and comfort to be upon Basiloria and their family during this time. Help them to trust in Your goodness and Your plan, even in the midst of this trial. We pray that this situation would be used for Your glory and for the drawing of hearts closer to You.
Lord, we know that when Jesus walked the earth, He showed us compassion and love as well as healing. Mark 6:34 WEB, "Jesus came out, saw a great multitude, and he had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd, and he began to teach them many things." We ask for this same compassion to be given to this family.
In John 5:18-20 WEB "For this cause therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only broke the Sabbath, but also called God his own Father, making himself equal with God. Jesus therefore answered them, 'Most assuredly, I tell you, the Son can do nothing of himself, but what he sees the Father doing. For whatever things he does, these the Son also does likewise. For the Father has affection for the Son, and shows him all things that he himself does. He will show him greater works than these, that you may marvel.'" Help us to know that Jesus cannot ask anything He wishes from the Father. Instead, Jesus can only ask whatever He sees the Father doing. We should trust that whatever God's will is since it always perfect. That God may wish to heal him but it may not be in His plan and both our Father in Heaven and Jesus should be trusted.
In Jesus' name, we pray for healing and we also pray for God's will to be done. Come Lord Jesus and bring our brother in Christ and his family closer to you.
Amen.
