Healing Prayer

I was told I have a skin infection that could be staph or MRSA. Please pray for full and complete healing and that the antibiotics would work completely. Pray for a reduction of anxiety, fear, and nervousness. Thank you

We are truly sorry to hear about your health situation, Mykris, but we are here to stand with you in prayer and faith. Firstly we will pray for healing but remember that the Bible tells us in James 5:14-15 "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."

In your request it is stated that you have faith for healing but it is placed in the antibiotics. The bible states that our faith for healing is to be in God. There are many scriptures that show this. Psalms 103:2-3 "Praise Yahweh, my soul, Don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." Notice that it states All your diseases.

Faith comes by the word of God, so as we pray for your healing also pray that your faith would be increased according to the word of God . "so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love" Ephesians 3:17. If we are to be rooted and grounded in love then it is clear that this can only be accomplished through Jesus (in His name) Christ because 'God is love.' So we are to pray to the Father in Jesus name.

Now you did not mention Jesus or Jesus Christ or our lord and saviour or anything close to this. It is important to remember that prayer to the Father must be in Jesus name. There is no other way to receive salvation or approach God the Father. Let us remember that it is by the wounds of Jesus Christ that we are healed. Isaiah 53:5 "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed."

The Bible tells that we are to pray to the Father in Jesus name. This is the only way that we can approach God. Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

Lets us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus name, and stand in agreement with Mykris for complete healing from this skin infection. We stand on the word of God which states that they who believe shall be saved and whatsoever we ask in Jesus we have faith to receive. We pray Your divine hand of healing would touch Mykris and remove all anxiety, fear, and nervousness, replacing it with a peace that surpasses all understanding. So we ask that you will increase the faith of Mykris according to the word of God. We pray this in Jesus name.

Also we pray that you will use this situation to draw Mykris closer to You, Lord, and to increase trust, faith, and reliance on You, the perfect healer. In Jesus' name, we pray for complete healing and comfort.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
