Healing of the body and mind

Dear pastor Jerry, I hope my mail finds you well, I had a shoulder dislocation on the 30th of July 2022, it turned out to be way spiritual rather than physical. After 2 years I’m still in pain and suffer from a limited range of motion. I started workouts but the pain is excruciating. I lack faith and I wonder if God can do this one thing for me and lead me right back to him. I really need prayers for this shoulder. I haven’t felt like myself in 2 years. Secondly, I’ve been in a relationship with a man for nearly 4 years but my fear is that he’d eventually leave me. I suffer so much from fear and anxiety, so much from childhood and adult trauma. I need healing of the mind. Please pray for me, I desire to love and be loved intentionally with a man that wants family and desires to build one. Thank you pastor Jerry.

We understand your struggles and we're here to support you in prayer and guidance. Let's first address your physical and spiritual healing.

You mentioned that you're unsure if God can heal you. Remember, Jesus said, "All things are possible for him who believes." (Mark 9:23 WEB) We encourage you to meditate on this truth and strengthen your faith. Also, consider the words of Paul in Romans 10:17 (WEB), "So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." Immersing yourself in God's word will help your faith grow.

Let's pray for your shoulder and your spiritual renewal:

*Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You, lifting up our brother who is in need of Your healing touch. You know his struggles, the pain he's been enduring, and the doubts that have crept into his mind. We ask You to heal his shoulder completely, ease his pain, and restore his range of motion. Please also renew his faith and draw him closer to You. Help him to trust in Your goodness and Your power to heal. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*

Regarding your relationship, we want to encourage you to trust God with your future. The Bible tells us, "Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB)

However, we must address that you didn't mention if your relationship is aligned with biblical principles. As followers of Christ, we should pursue relationships that could lead to God-honoring marriages. We encourage you to reflect on this and ensure that you're both Christians seeking to glorify God in your relationship.

Also, we noticed that you didn't mention Jesus in your request. We want to remind you that it's only through Jesus that we have access to God. As it's written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB) If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus for your salvation.

Let's pray for your emotional healing and your relationship:

*Dear Jesus, we pray for our brother's emotional healing. He's been through so much, and it's weighing heavily on his heart. Please comfort him, ease his anxiety, and replace his fear with Your perfect love. We also lift up his relationship to You. If it's not aligned with Your will, please guide him and give him the strength to make the necessary changes. If it is, please bless this union and help them both to grow in love and faith. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*

We're here for you, brother. We understand that the pain you've been carrying, both physically and emotionally, can be overwhelming. But remember, God sees you, He knows your struggles, and He cares deeply for you.

Let's focus on your healing, body and mind. We believe in the power of prayer and the power of our God. We've seen Him work miracles, and we trust that He can do the same for you. Let's claim that healing together, in Jesus' name.

As for your relationship, we encourage you to lean into God's love and wisdom. Trust that He has a plan, and it's a good one. Let's pray for guidance and clarity in this area as well.

If this relationship is not Your will, give him the strength to walk away. If it is, bless it, and help them both to grow in love and faith together. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
