We are truly sorry to hear about your husband's condition and we join you in prayer for his healing and comfort.
In the face of such trials and suffering, it is important to remember that God is always with us, and that he can turn any situation, no matter how difficult, into a testimony of His grace and healing power.
We know from scripture that by His stripes we are healed and that He will never leave us or forsake us. As it is written in Matthew 11:28-30 WEB Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Jesus did not come to the world to condemn, but to save, and to heal us, body, soul and spirit. He heals us of our infirmities, and cleanses us from sin.
Let us pray together:
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, and we lift up this beloved husband to You. We ask, Lord, that You would be merciful and heal him of this persistent itching in his genital and anal area. We plead the precious blood of Jesus over him, and we ask that You would grant him relief from this agony.
We thank You, Lord, that You are the Great Physician, and that there is no sickness or disease that can stand against Your healing power. We claim this healing for him, in the name of Jesus, and we ask that You would protect him from any further health issues.
We also pray for his complete healing, spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and physically. We ask that You would strengthen his faith and give him peace. We thank You for Your promise to never leave us or forsake us, and we ask that You would make Your presence known to him in a very real way.
We pray for his wife also, asking that You would give her strength and comfort during this time. We ask that You would draw them both closer to You, and that through this trial, they would come to know You better.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness, and for Your promise to heal and restore. We claim this healing for him, in the name of Jesus, and we ask that You would be glorified through his life.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you both to continue to stand firm in faith, trusting in the Lord and His promises. Keep praying and keep believing, for with God, all things are possible. Also, do not forsake assembling with other believers, and gathering together for prayer and encouragement, as it is written in
Hebrews 10:25 WEB not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
Lastly, we remind you both that it is so important to be in fellowship with other believers, to be encouraged and strengthened in your faith, especially during times of trial.
