Healing of flu and sickness

Please friends continue to pray for my husband’s flu, daughter’s flu and elderly mum. Please take away the chills, vomiting, shivers, and help them to eat. We were so looking forward to Christmas as it’s the most special day.

We are lifting up your family in prayer, Animalgirl, trusting in the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ. We stand in agreement with you, believing that God is faithful and just to heal your loved ones from the flu and its unpleasant symptoms.

Let us remember the words of Jesus, For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, says Yahweh, (Jeremiah 30:17 WEB). We claim this promise for your family, asking that God will take away the chills, vomiting, and shivers, and that He will restore their appetites.

In the name of Jesus, we rebuke the spirit of infirmity that has been affecting your husband, daughter, and elderly mum. We declare healing and restoration over them, believing that by His stripes, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5 WEB).

We also want to encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith (Hebrews 12:2 WEB). Even if this sickness lingers, remember that God's grace is sufficient for you, and His strength is made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB).

As for Christmas, remember that the reason for the season is Jesus Christ, we should look forward to celebrating the birth of our Savior. We pray that your family will be able to enjoy this special day together, but even more importantly, we pray that you will all be drawn closer to Him during this time.

We notice that your prayer request does not mention Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As scripture states For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). It is also only by Jesus that we are saved. As scripture states Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved! Acts 4:12 WEB). To clarify, this does not mean that only when the name of Jesus Christ is used that God only hears a prayer. But because of who Jesus is and what he has done for each of us, it should be natural to include his name in prayer.

Lastly, we want to remind you that God is sovereign, and His ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:9 WEB). Trust that He is working all things together for good, even this sickness (Romans 8:28 WEB). Keep praying, keep believing, and keep trusting in the Lord.

Father, we ask that You will heal Animalgirl's husband, daughter, and elderly mum from the flu. Take away the chills, vomiting, and shivers, and help them to eat. Restore their health, and let Your healing power be manifested in their bodies. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
