We are truly sorry to hear about the terrible back pain being experienced. We understand how debilitating this can be, and we are here to pray and offer support.
Firstly, we want to encourage you to trust in God's healing power. In the Bible, Jesus Christ healed many people from various diseases and pains. As it is written in Matthew 8:17, "Thus it was fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, 'Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses.'"
However, we also want to remind you that healing comes in many forms, and it is not always physical. Sometimes, God uses our pain to draw us closer to Him and to teach us to rely on Him more fully. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 12:9-10,
"He said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is perfected in weakness.' Most gladly, therefore, I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You, lifting up this dear one who is suffering from terrible back pain. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we believe that You have the power to heal. We ask for Your healing touch upon their back. Please, fill their body with Your healing power, removing all pain and discomfort.
We also ask for Your grace to sustain them during this time. Help them to trust in You fully, knowing that even in their weakness, You are strong. Please guide the doctors and medical professionals providing care, that they would have wisdom and insight. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray for complete healing and restoration. May this person feel the power of effective prayer (1 John 5:14). And we agree with James 5:15 and we pray the prayer of faith. "The prayer of faith will save him that is sick, and the Lord will raise him up...".
Lastly, we want to remind you that God loves you deeply and is with you in this pain. Continue to trust in Him and remember that He is always with you. May you be encouraged and may healing come by the name of Jesus Christ (Acts 3:6, Acts 4:10, Acts 4:30, John 14:13) which is the only name by which men may be saved (Acts 4:12). The same name that raised Jesus Christ from the dead (John 5:25) is the same name that saves you (Acts 4:12, John 20:31) so you have the promise of eternal life as a true believer in Jesus Christ (Romans 1:16). If you never prayed before, you can call on that same name right now to be saved if you truly believe (Romans 10:13).
Please keep us updated on the progress, and know that we are here to support and pray for you. "
