We join with you, Wormmour, in lifting up your sons to the Lord, asking for His divine intervention and healing in their lives.
Firstly, we pray for Christopher. We stand in faith, agreeing with you for his complete healing from mental illness. As it is written in Isaiah 53:5 (WEB), "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed." We claim this healing for Christopher, praying that God restores his mind, body, and soul. We also pray against the stronghold of alcohol in his life, that the Lord would deliver him from this desire, as 1 Corinthians 10:13 (WEB) promises, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."
For Michael, we pray that the fruit of the Spirit, as listed in Galatians 5:22-23 (WEB), "love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control," would manifest in his life. We ask that God would teach him to be kind and forgiving, and that he would find the peace that surpasses all understanding, as promised in Philippians 4:7 (WEB).
For Steven, we ask that God would lead him to a place of serenity and peace. We pray that he would serve God wholeheartedly, and that God would open doors for him to find gainful employment. As it is written in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Finally, we pray all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB). We encourage you, Wormmour, to keep praying and believing in Jesus' name, for He is faithful and able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20, WEB).
We also note that your request does not mention Jesus Christ explicitly. We would like to remind you that it is only by His name that we can approach God, as Acts 4:12 (WEB) clearly states, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We encourage you to confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, believing in His death and resurrection for your salvation.
