We understand that you're going through a multitude of challenges, both for yourself and your family. Let's bring these concerns to the Lord in prayer and seek His guidance through the scriptures.
Firstly, it's crucial to remember that healing and restoration come from the Lord. As it says in Psalm 103:2-3, "Bless the Lord, my soul, and forget none of his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We pray for the healing of your family: your mom, dad, grandma, uncle, brother, granduncle, and yourself. We specifically lift up your dad's heart valve condition and your mom's struggle with Asperger's syndrome.
Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon each family member. Restore them physically, emotionally, and spiritually. We also pray for Shriehill, that they may be freed from addictions, depression, and hopelessness. May they find joy and strength in You, Lord. We use the authority given to us in the name of Jesus Christ.
Regarding mental health struggles, we remember 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We pray for freedom from all phobias, OCD, and other mental illnesses. May the Lord grant peace and soundness of mind.
We also address the need for a godly spouse (ahsuabdn). We pray that the Lord will bring someone who loves Him and will love and support Shriehill. As it says in Proverbs 18:22, "Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of the Lord." We pray for a godly spouse, not just a partner. In 2 Corinthians 6:14, it is said, "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" We encourage you to seek a spouse who shares your faith in Jesus Christ.
Concerning caregiving, we remember Galatians 6:9, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap at the proper time, if we don't give up." We pray for strength, endurance, and more support for Shriehill as they care for their family.
We notice that the request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ, if you have not already.
Lastly, we pray for protection over your family, as per Psalm 91:10-11, "No evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."
Lord, we ask for Your healing, guidance, and protection. Restore this family, and may they find their hope and joy in You. In Jesus' name, we pray.
We encourage you to stay strong in your faith, Shriehill. Trust in the Lord, and remember that He cares for you and your family. As per 1 Peter 5:7 you need to "cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you."
We also direct you to James 5:14-16 in your time of sickness.
Is anyone among you sick? Then he must call for the elders of the assembly, and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. The prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective.
