We understand that you are going through a challenging time, Lasiras, as you deal with feelings of rejection and the declining health of an older friend. Let us come together and lift you and your friend up in prayer, seeking God's will in this situation.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the precious promise in Psalm 34:18, which tells us, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." In your feelings of rejection and grief, know that the Lord is close to you, and He cares deeply about your pain.
Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Lasiras and their friend. Lord, You know the pain and rejection they are feeling, and we ask that You comfort them and remind them of their worth in Your eyes. Help them to cast all their cares upon You, knowing that You care for them.
Lord, we also pray for Lasiras' friend. We ask that You would be with him in his illness, and that Your will would be done in his life. Comfort him, Lord, and give him peace.
Father, we also pray that Lasiras would find solace in Your love and that any wounds of rejection would be healed. Help them to forgive and to trust in You, knowing that You have a purpose and a plan for their life.
Finally, Lord, we pray that Lasiras would continue to seek You and to draw closer to You during this time. Help them to know that it is only in Jesus Christ that we have access to You, and that there is no other name by which we can be saved.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Lasiras, in the meantime, we encourage you to meditate on the words of Psalm 147:3, which tells us that God "heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." Trust in Him, and know that He is working in both your life and the life of your friend.
Lastly, we want to gently remind you that praying in Jesus' name is vital, as it is through Him that we have access to God. If you have not already, consider learning more about the salvation message of believing in Jesus Christ. As Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!"
