We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you and your husband are facing, and we are here to pray and offer support. In Jesus' name, we stand with you in agreement for healing and restoration. God's will to heal is evident in His word.
The Lord is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance and that none should be sick or brokenhearted. 2 Peter 3:9 says The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish but that all should reach repentance.
We know that Jesus has already provided healing for us, as Isaiah 53:5 tells us, But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed.
We pray that your husband's health will be fully restored, and that both of you will be able to attend church together, praising God for His goodness. We rebuke the spirits of anger, depression, and discouragement that have been attacking your husband. As believers, we have authority over these spirits in Jesus' name, as Luke 10:19 says, See, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will in any way hurt you.
We also pray that your husband will turn his focus away from the negativity of the news and towards the hope and positivity found in Christ. Philippians 4:8 reminds us, Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things.
We pray for his upcoming medical appointment, that the doctors will have wisdom and discernment, and that good news will be reported.
We also lift you up, asking God to fill you with patience, strength, and wisdom as you support your husband. Remember, love is patient and kind, as told in 1 Corinthians 13:4.
Finally, we agree with you that the Holy Spirit will intervene in your lives, filling you both with His comfort, guidance, and power.
Father, in Jesus' name, we come before You, asking for Your healing touch upon your husband. Restore him physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Help him to turn his eyes from the things of this world and onto Jesus. Guide the doctors, that they may have wisdom and discernment in his care. Fill your husband and wife with patience, strength, and love during this time. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
