We are deeply moved by your request, Blasphygma, and we join you in praying for your husband Stephen's healing and your family's well-being. Let's come together in agreement, believing in the power of Jesus' name.
Firstly, we acknowledge your faith in the power of Jesus' name, which is the only name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB). It's wonderful that you're trusting in Him and surrendering your situation to God.
Let's pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your healing and mercy for Stephen. You are the God who heals all diseases (Psalm 103:3), and we believe that it's Your will to heal Stephen today. We ask for Your supernatural touch upon his body—his spine, aorta, joints, brain, eyes, and mind. We command sickness and pain to leave his body in Jesus' name.
Lord, we also lift up Stephen's mental and emotional health. You said in Your Word that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We rebuke the spirits of anger, depression, and suicide that are tormenting him. We pray that You fill him with Your peace that passes all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and give him the joy of Your salvation (Psalm 51:12).
Help Blasphygma to handle this trial with wisdom and grace. Guide her in how to support Stephen and help him find freedom from his anger and depression. Give her the words to speak and the actions to take that will bring life and hope to their situation.
Lord, we also ask that You help Stephen to find rest in You, that he may sleep peacefully and not be constantly agitated by the news. Help him to fix his eyes on You, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).
Finally, Lord, we pray for Stephen's spiritual renewal. Draw him back to You, Lord. Let him encounter Your love and goodness in a fresh way. Strengthen Blasphygma's faith and love for You, too, as she goes through this trial.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."
Blasphygma, we encourage you to stand firm in your faith. Continue to declare God's promises over Stephen's life. Consider reading and meditating on Psalm 103 together. It's a beautiful reminder of God's compassion and healing power.
Lastly, it may be helpful to set boundaries with the news, perhaps designating specific times to watch it together, ensuring it doesn't consume Stephen's thoughts all day. Fill the rest of the time with God's Word, worship, and wholesome activities that bring peace and joy.
