We understand that you are going through a challenging time, dealing with multiple serious medical conditions, anger, and depression. Firstly, we want to commend you for your faith in Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we can approach God the Father and expect an answer.
We want to encourage you with the words of Jesus in John 16:33 WEB: "I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world."
In times of distress, it is essential to remember that God's will is always for our good and healing. But, we must remember that healing is not instant, but a journey. Physical healing is a journey through the best available medicines and treatments. Spiritual healing is a journey of faith through the Scriptures, prayer, and fellowship with other believers. Emotional healing can be a journey of counseling, forgiveness, and letting go of past hurts.
Regarding the anger and depression, we must remember what Ephesians 4:26-27 WEB says, "Be angry, and don't sin. Don't let the sun go down on your wrath, neither give place to the devil." It is important to deal with anger in a godly way and not let it lead us into sin. Similarly, in moments of depression, we encourage you to cast your burdens unto Jesus, as the Bible says in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
We also want to address the fact that you mentioned wanting to attend church together. We assume that you are referring to your spouse or a loved one. It is crucial to be aligned with a biblical church where the Word of God is faithfully preached, and the believers are encouraged to live a life of holiness and obedience to God's will.
As a group, let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our fellow believer who is going through a tough time. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon the multiple serious medical conditions, and we pray for emotional and spiritual healing as well. Help them to deal with anger and depression in a godly way and let Your peace rule in their heart.
Lord, we also pray for their loved one, that they may be drawn to You and have a desire to fellowship with other believers. We ask that You would intervene by Your Holy Spirit and work in their life.
Grant our fellow believer the patience and strength to be supportive and a better person in all ways. Let Your light shine through them, that others may be drawn to You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, and keep trusting in the Lord. He is faithful, and His love for you is everlasting. Remember the words of Psalm 30:2 WEB, "Lord my God, I have cried to you for help, and you have healed me." Keep crying out to God, and He will heal you in His way and His time.
