We are truly saddened to hear about your diagnosis but are encouraged by your faith and trust in the Lord. We stand with you in prayer, believing that God is the ultimate healer. We are reminded of the psalmist's words in Psalm 103:2-3, "Bless the Lord, my soul, and forget none of his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."
Firstly, we must address that the name of Jesus Christ (IJN) is not a magical charm or a spell. It is only by His stripes that we are healed of our infirmities. We also need to understand that God's will for us might not always align with our own desires. Sometimes, God allows us to go through trials to strengthen our faith and draw us closer to Him. As it says in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
We also need to remember "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." James 5:14-16 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our brother in Christ who is battling stage four colorectal cancer. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we believe that nothing is impossible for You. We pray for Your healing touch upon his body, from the crown of his head to the soles of his feet. We specifically ask for healing in his liver, omentum, and kidney, where the cancer has spread.
Lord, guide the doctors and nurses, giving them wisdom and skill as they treat our beloved brother. We pray that the upcoming scan on ### will show a miraculous reduction or even complete disappearance of the cancer, confounding the medical professionals and bringing glory to Your name. We do pray that they will not see the Egyptians they saw before.
We also pray for strength and peace for our brother during this time. Help him to remain steadfast in his faith, trusting in Your goodness and love. Surround him with Your presence, filling him with Your joy and hope. And use this situation for his good and Your glory as only You can do.
"We ask these things in Jesus name. Amen."
Lastly brother, continue to put your trust in the Lord, knowing that He is faithful and true. Psalm 56:3 says, "What time I am afraid, I will put my trust in you." Stand firm in your faith, and know that we are standing with you in prayer, believing God for your healing. Continue to trust the Lord. He is worthy of all of our trust.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You. Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
