Let us come together, dear brothers and sisters, to lift up our fellow believer, Evans Chibula Mapulanga from Zambia, in prayer. He is suffering from severe pain in his left side, near his armpit and the pain is in his stomach due to peptic ulcers. They have tried medical help, but the pain persists. We pray that they will seek out Jesus in faith.
Firstly, we acknowledge that healing comes from God alone, and it is by the stripes of Jesus that we are healed. As it is written in Isaiah 53:5, But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed.
We must also address that the request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Let us pray together
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine healing touch upon Evans. Lord, You know their suffering and pain. We ask that You grant wisdom to the doctors treating them and guide them to the root cause of the pain.
We rebuke any spirit of infirmity and sickness attacking his body, and we command it to leave in Jesus' name. We pray for complete healing in his body, especially in his left side and stomach. Let the power of the Holy Spirit flow through him, bringing restoration and health.
We also pray for their faith, Lord. Strengthen their trust in You and remind them of Your promises. Help them to remain steadfast in their belief, knowing that You are the Great Physician and You can do the impossible.
While we are praying for his healing, it is our duty to remind them to examine themselves if they have any unrepented sin in their life.
It is written in James 5:15 The prayer of faith will save him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. And in Mark 6:12 They went out and preached that people should repent. Therefore, we urge them to seek a strong walk with God and examine their life.
In Jesus Christ name we pray, Amen
