We are here with you, dear friend, lifting you up in prayer to our Heavenly Father. We are grateful that you have come to us, seeking prayer in the mighty name of Jesus.
First, let us remind you of the power of prayer and the promises of God's word. In Matthew 18:20 WEB, it is told, where two or three are gathered in his name, there he is in the midst of them. So, we stand together, calling on the name of Jesus for your healing and peaceful sleep.
The Bible tells us to cast all our anxieties on him, because he cares for us, in Peter 5:7 WEB. It is our hope that if you have any worries or fears regarding your health, you will surrender them to God, trusting in his goodness and sovereignty.
Now, let us pray together for you:
Almighty God, our loving Father, we come before you in the name of your beloved Son, Jesus Christ. We lift up our dear friend who is suffering from back pain and sleepless nights.
Father, we ask for your healing touch upon their body, we know that nothing is impossible for you. We are praying that the same power from the Holy Spirit that enabled Jesus to go about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil in Acts 10:38 WEB will touch them. We rebuke this pain and claim your promise in Exodus 15:26 WEB, where you assure us that you are the Lord who heals us.
We also ask for peaceful sleep, Father. In Psalm 4:8 WEB, you tell us, I will both lie down in peace, and sleep, for you, Lord, alone make me live in safety. We claim this promise for our friend, and we ask that they have peaceful, refreshing sleep. They are having sleepless nights, but we pray that they will now be able to rest in the Lord and be at peace in their sleep.
In all things, Father, we ask that your will be done. We pray that our friend will be able to say that they are crucified with Christ and they no longer live, but Christ lives in them. May they live by faith in the Son of God, who loved them and gave himself for them. May they draw closer to you during this time, strengthening their relationship with you, Lord.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
While we wait for God's answer, let us encourage you with these words from Romans 8:38-39 WEB, For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Remember, dear friend, that you are never alone. God is always with you, and so are we, praying and believing with you. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, trusting in his love and faithfulness.
