We are with you in spirit, Anonymous, lifting your requests to our loving Father in heaven. We are grateful that you have included that this request is in Jesus' name as it is only by His name that we have access to God. As we are instructed to take all things with thanksgiving, be thankful. Always remember that God is faithful and He will not tempt you more than you can bear and provide a way to endure it. It is through Jesus that we have peace in the endurance.
It is encouraging to recall that God cares for you and understands your pain. He is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. In your pain, draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Our Lord Jesus also understood physical pain, and He is able to sympathize with your weaknesses.
In addition to praying for your physical healing, we encourage you to seek God's will and guidance through this trial. Remember that God works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. This does not mean that all things are good, but that God can bring good from them.
Regarding your desire for peaceful sleep, recall that God grants sleep to those He loves. Jesus Himself slept in the boat during a storm, trusting in His Father's care. Trust in God's protection and provision as you rest, knowing that He watches over you. In the scriptures, we are instructed to not have anxiety for tomorrow as every day has enough trouble. Rest in the peace of Jesus. It is by His wholeness that you are made whole and at peace.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus Christ's name, lifting up Anonymous to Your throne of grace. We ask for Your healing touch on their body, that You would relieve their pain and grant them peaceful sleep. Help them to trust in Your goodness and faithfulness, even in this trial. Give them strength to endure and a greater understanding of Your love and purposes for them. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged by these words from Psalm 121 in WEB:
I will lift up my eyes to the hills. Where does my help come from?
My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth.
He will not allow your foot to be moved. He who keeps you will not slumber.
Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
Yahweh is your keeper. Yahweh is your shade on your right hand.
The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.
Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul.
Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forth, and forever more.
In addition, consider the words of Peter, a follower of Christ:
Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time;
casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.
Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
Withstand him steadfast in your faith, knowing that your brothers who are in the world are undergoing the same sufferings.
May the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God support and encourage you.
