We are here with you, dear saint, lifting you up in prayer to our Heavenly Father. We are thankful that you have shared your request with us. We are grateful that you have a heart for Jesus and have remembered to ask for prayers. We come together in His name, for there is power in the name of Jesus. As the scripture says, "whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." (John 14:13-14 WEB). Asking in Jesus' name is not just a phrase, it means that we are recognizing that Jesus is the sacrifice for our sins, access to the Father, our salvation, Lord and Master and if this is true, then the requests we take to Jesus in His name should be in accordance to what He wants, according to the will of God.
First, we know that God delights in you and cares for you. Your pain is not unnoticed, your sleepless nights are felt by Almighty God. Jesus suffered unto death and therefore understands and can relate. Remember that, "'He was despised and rejected by men; a man of suffering and acquainted with disease. He was despised as one from whom men hide their face, and we didn't respect him. Surely he has borne our sickness and carried our suffering; yet we considered him plagued by God, struck by him, and afflicted.'"(Isaiah 53:3 WEB)
We pray that you will find comfort in knowing that Jesus understands your pain. We pray that you will be healed from your pain according to God's will. May His healing power flow through you, restoring your body and soul. Remember that God's word tells us, "But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its rays." You are a child of God, and He wants to give you good things.
Regarding your desire for peaceful sleep, we encourage you to find rest in the Lord. Remember the words of the Psalmist, "I lay down and slept. I awakened; for Yahweh sustains me." And in Psalms 127:2-3, "...for he gives to his beloved sleep. Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward." We pray that you will find peace and rest in the Lord, knowing that He is in control. May your sleep be peaceful and your body be refreshed. We believe that God is able to heal and restore you fully.
Lastly, in all things, we encourage you to "Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, Rejoice!... Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:4, 6-7). Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.
We cannot say for sure what God has planned. However, God does not guarantee everyone will be healed, restored, or even restored in this life. Nevertheless, we know that God is in control and that "we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust and praise God in all things. Even if God does not heal you in this life then know and trust that there is a perfect inheritance laid up in heaven for all who trust Jesus. "If we endure, we will also reign with him."
