We are with you in spirit, dear friend, and we lift up your request for healing and peaceful sleep to our Heavenly Father. It brings us joy to see that you have acknowledged the power of Jesus' name in your prayer, for as it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Let us pray: Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You to lift up our brother/sister in their time of need. We ask for Your healing touch upon their body, that the pain may subside and they may find relief. We also pray for peaceful sleep, that their nights may be restful and their minds at ease. We know that You are the Great Physician, and that by Your stripes, we are healed. Help our dear friend to trust in You and Your goodness, even in this difficult time. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to meditate on the words of Psalm 4:8, "I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for you, Lord, only make me dwell in safety." Trust that God is with you, even in the darkness of the night.
Remember also, that in times of suffering, we can draw near to God and He will draw near to us (James 4:8). Use this time to strengthen your relationship with Him, to pray, and to read His Word.
Lastly, we remind you of the promise in Philippians 4:6-7, "Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
May the peace of God be with you, dear friend. We continue to pray for your healing and peaceful sleep.
