We are truly sorry to hear about the pain and inflammation caused by osteoarthritis. Let us come together in prayer and seeking God's will for healing.
Let's remember Jesus Christ's promise that He will do whatever we ask in His name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son and that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him. (John 14:13, 1 John 5:14-15 WEB). So let us pray together in His name.
Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ to ask for your healing touch. We ask that You ease the pain and inflammation caused by osteoarthritis. We ask for supernatural healing, so the afflicted can testify of Your greatness. Lord, we know that You are able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20 WEB). We believe in Jesus Christ and Your power to heal and we ask this in Jesus' name.
We also ask for strength and comfort for them as they deal with this condition. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7)
We rejoice in hope of their healing and of the glory of God. And not only this, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering works perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope and hope does not disappoint us, because God's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us. (Romans 5:3-5)
Let patience have its perfect work, that they may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing (James 1:4).
We recognize that healing comes in many forms, whether it be supernatural healing or through medical intervention. We pray for wisdom and guidance for those treating this condition.
Lastly, we pray for their full restoration and that they may glorify You in their body and in their spirit, which are God's (1 Corinthians 6:20). We praise and thank You, in Jesus' name. Amen.
While we wait for God's healing, either by supernatural healing in an instant or by giving the doctors wisdom to treat the condition, let us encourage you to meditate on God's Word and trust in His unfailing love. Remember, that though they may walk through the valley of the shadow of death, they will fear no evil, for God is with them (Psalm 23:4). Cast all their anxiety on him because he cares for them. (1 Peter 5:7)
Take heart, for God is faithful. He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. (1 Corinthians 10:13)
