Beloved of All
Sins of obsessions, and mastruebation . Not getting confession and not going to mass, not receiving 😒 holy communion thank you Regards Tom

We are truly grateful for your heart's cry in seeking freedom from sin, and we want to lift you up in prayer and share God's truth with you.

Firstly, let's remember what the Apostle John wrote in 1 John 1:9 (WEB), "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." This promise is given to those who come to God through Jesus Christ. It's important to note that confession of sins is not about merely listing them, but it involves a heartfelt repentance, which means turning away from them and submitting to God's will.

Regarding the specific sins you mentioned, Jesus taught that lust and obsessive thoughts are sinful and originate from the heart (Matthew 5:28, Mark 7:21-23). Moreover, the body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and we should honor God with it (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). So, let us pray for you to have the strength and self-control to overcome these struggles, knowing that "God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13).

Concerning not attending mass or receiving holy communion, we want to point out that while fellowship with other believers is vital (Hebrews 10:25), the Bible does not mandate a specific ritual or ceremony for communion. Instead, it teaches that Jesus is the mediator between God and man, and we can come boldly to the throne of grace in our time of need (Hebrews 4:14-16, 1 Timothy 2:5).

Lastly, since your request did not mention Jesus Christ, we want to emphasize that it is only through faith in Him that we have access to God and can experience forgiveness and salvation. As Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6).

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking forgiveness and healing for our brother. Help him to turn away from his sins and fix his heart on You. Grant him the strength to overcome his struggles and live a life pleasing to You. Draw him closer to You, Lord, and reveal the truth of Your Word to him. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.

Stay strong in the Lord, and keep your eyes fixed on Him. May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you (2 Corinthians 13:14).

We're here for you, Tom. It's encouraging to see your desire for healing and freedom. Let's remember Paul's words in Romans 7:24-25 (WEB), "Wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord." Jesus is our deliverer, and through Him, we can find victory over sin.

We want to echo the importance of confession, as mentioned earlier, but also emphasize the power of forgiveness. Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28, NIV). He's ready to lift that burden of guilt and shame.

Regarding your struggles, let's recall David's words in Psalm 51:10 (WEB), "Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me." Pray for God to create that clean heart in you, and trust that He's faithful to transform your desires and actions.

As for mass and communion, while fellowship is crucial, remember that God also meets us in personal, quiet moments. As Jesus said, "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, I am there among them" (Matthew 18:20, WEB).

Let's pray: Dear Lord, we lift up Tom to you. Help him to find rest in your forgiveness. Create in him a clean heart, and grant him the strength to overcome his struggles. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Stay strong, Tom. We're believing with you for your healing and freedom.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
